A student who reads 20 minutes per day will be exposed to 1.8 Million words per year and scores in the 90th percentile on standardized tests.

Glendale's 5th-grade students attended an assembly on Americanism hosted by the Veteran's Council. Glendale loves and appreciates our Veterans for their service and for their time spent fostering a sense of patriotism in our students.

Shelby Muir from Glendale Elementary won 1st Place blue ribbon for the Centennial Art Contest put together by the Vero Beach Art Club. Her watercolor hibiscus was awarded 1st place in the K-5th grade division for the district.

Glendale Elementary recently participated in their bi-annual Gator Express! Teachers, staff, students, and their families volunteered their Saturday to deliver free books and ice cream to local neighborhood children! A great time was had by all.
